Demo Environment Terms

"DataJewellers" means Data Doodles Tech Private Limited, the operator of the DataJewellers service ("we", "us"). These terms apply to the demonstration workspace at demo.datajewellers.com (the demo). By entering the demo you accept them.

1. What the demo is

The demo is one shared workspace, open to the public, filled with fictional sample data — invented shops, customers, suppliers, karigars, items and transactions. It exists so you can see how DataJewellers behaves before deciding whether it suits your business.

Anyone can enter it. There is no application, no approval and no identity check: you pick one of the offered sample roles on the way in, and the workspace then behaves as a user with that role would see it. Because roles are chosen freely, the permissions you get in the demo say nothing about who you are.

2. It is shared and public

Everyone in the demo is in the same workspace at the same time. Anything you type, save, print or upload can be seen, changed or deleted by any other visitor, and by us. Treat every keystroke in the demo as public.

3. Never enter real data

Do not enter real customer, supplier, employee, financial or personal data into the demo. That includes real names, phone numbers, addresses, PAN or VAT numbers, real prices and balances, real stock, and any document belonging to a real person or business.

If you do, you are publishing that information to strangers. You are responsible for the consequences, including under Nepal's Privacy Act, 2075 (2018), which restricts disclosing another person's personal information without their consent. If you realise you have entered real data, stop and tell us at support@datadoodlestech.com — but understand that we cannot recall what other visitors have already seen.

4. It is reset

The demo is reset to its sample state periodically and whenever we choose. A reset erases everything anyone has entered, without notice and without any way to recover it. Nothing in the demo is retained for you. Do not use it to hold anything you would mind losing, and do not use it as a place to draft real work.

5. No commitments

The demo is provided as-is, for demonstration only. In relation to it we make no commitment as to:

• Confidentiality — nothing you put there is confidential.
• Availability — it may be slow, broken, or offline at any time.
• Backup or recovery — there is none, and a reset is final.
• Support — demo questions are not support cases and carry no response time.

We may change, restrict or withdraw the demo entirely at any time, for any reason, without notice.

6. Nothing produced in the demo is a real record

Invoices, credit and debit notes, receipts, tags, registers, reports and exports generated in the demo are samples with no legal, accounting or tax effect. They are not valid bills, they are not part of any book of account, and their numbering means nothing. Do not issue them to a customer, a supplier, an auditor or the Inland Revenue Department, and do not rely on them for filings.

The demo also does not send anything to the Inland Revenue Department's systems. The e-billing adapter in DataJewellers is off unless a real business turns it on with its own IRD credentials.

7. Consent and data requests do not apply here

The demo deliberately does not record legal consents, so nothing you click there is logged as your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions or your acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy. For the same reason the demo does not accept account or business deletion requests: there is no real account to delete, and a reset removes the contents anyway. Those requests belong to real workspaces and are described in the Data Retention & Deletion Policy.

8. Acceptable use applies

The Acceptable Use Policy applies in full to the demo. In particular, do not attempt to break out of the demo workspace, do not attack or overload it, and do not spoil it for other visitors. 9. Getting a real workspace instead

When you want a workspace of your own — private, backed by the hosting provider's facilities, with your own users and records — open your own account. Your own workspace is governed by the Terms & Conditions, not by these demo terms.
