1. Scope
DataJewellers means Data Doodles Tech Private Limited, the operator of the DataJewellers service ("we", "us"). This policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions and applies to everyone who uses DataJewellers — a subscribing business, each of its users, anyone using the demo at demo.datajewellers.com, and anyone visiting datajewellers.com.
The rule behind all of it is simple: use DataJewellers to run your own jewellery business, and do not interfere with anyone else's use of it or with the platform itself.
2. Prohibited activities
Security and other people's data
- Do not test our security without written permission. No penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, fuzzing, brute-force attempts or automated probing of datajewellers.com, business.datajewellers.com, demo.datajewellers.com, superadmin.datajewellers.com or any workspace unless we have agreed it in writing beforehand and set the scope. If you have found something, report it — the Security & Responsible Disclosure page explains how, and good-faith reports sent to support@datadoodlestech.com are welcome.
- Do not attempt to reach another business's workspace, database schema, backup, export or session, whether by guessing addresses or identifiers, manipulating requests or parameters, replaying tokens, or any other means.
- Do not attempt to reach the operator console at superadmin.datajewellers.com, or any platform-administration function, unless you are an authorised DataJewellers operator.
- Do not obtain, use or ask for another person's credentials, session cookie, one-time setup link or reset token, and do not phish or socially engineer our staff or another business's staff.
- Do not upload, transmit or store malware, viruses, ransomware or any code intended to damage, disable or gain control of the service, another user's device, or your own device in a way that affects the platform.
Automation, extraction and interference
- Do not scrape. Automated crawling, harvesting or bulk extraction of pages, records or API responses is not permitted. Export the data you are entitled to using the export features instead.
- Do not extract data you are not entitled to, including data outside the permissions your role grants you inside your own workspace.
- Do not interfere with availability — no denial-of-service, flooding, deliberate rate-limit evasion, or attacks on our hosting or database providers.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Accounts, plans and the demo
- Do not share accounts. Each sign-in belongs to one named person. If more people need access, add users within your plan.
- Do not circumvent plan limits or entitlements. Do not create additional workspaces or accounts to get around a seat, branch, item, invoice or storage limit, do not tamper with entitlement or feature flags, and do not attempt to enable a feature your plan does not include.
- Do not use the demo with real data. The demo at demo.datajewellers.com is shared, contains sample data and is reset periodically without notice. Never enter real customer, supplier, employee or financial information into it. See the Demo Environment Terms.
- Do not use a subscription or the demo to evaluate the software for building a competing product, or to resell access to it.
Records, tax and lawful use
- Do not manipulate or backdate records to evade tax or mislead anyone. Do not falsify invoices, ledger entries, stock movements, weights or rates; do not attempt to alter or destroy audit history; do not use the software to understate turnover or overstate cost. Issued invoices cannot be edited or deleted for exactly this reason — they can only be cancelled with a reason or corrected by a credit or debit note.
- Do not use DataJewellers for unlawful activity, including fraud, money laundering, dealing in stolen goods or precious metals you have no right to sell, or evading a legal obligation.
- Do not upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark or other rights, and do not upload a logo or image you do not have the right to use.
- Do not send abusive, threatening, harassing or defamatory content through the service, or to our staff or another business's staff.
3. Reporting a problem
- Security vulnerabilities and suspected compromise: support@datadoodlestech.com, and see Security & Responsible Disclosure.
- Abuse of the service, or content you believe infringes your rights: support@datadoodlestech.com.
- Anything else: support@datadoodlestech.com.
Please give enough detail for us to reproduce or verify what you have found, and do not access, alter or download other people's data while investigating — looking is already too far.
4. Consequences of breaking this policy
Depending on what has happened, we may:
- Ask you to stop, and give you a chance to put it right, where the breach can be fixed.
- Suspend the account or the workspace. Suspension makes the workspace read-only where the platform allows it; nothing is deleted by a suspension.
- Terminate the subscription under the Terms & Conditions, following the read-only, export, archive and purge sequence described there and in the Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
- Preserve logs and audit records relevant to the incident, and provide them to a court or authority where we are required or legally permitted to.
- Report the matter to the authorities. Several activities on this list are computer offences under the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 (2006) — including unauthorised access to a computer program or data, damage to a computer or information system, and computer fraud — and we will report them where a computer offence appears to have been committed. That Act also reaches a person outside Nepal whose offence involves a system located in Nepal.
Where the security or integrity of the platform or another business is at risk, we may suspend access immediately and explain afterwards.
5. Changes
